SPRING AND SUMMER 20/21

Samuel's birthday outing

Nearly yearly in November the Beaujolais nouveau comes out and that is when my hon and I go celebrating his birthday - a nice french cuisine meal with gorgeous wine.

Trip to Napier - checking out the Chantal organic store/eatery

A shiatsu job at an historic homestead

this homestead can be rented to stay and you get to spent some days in this old quaint house and wander around in their extensive gardens.

Sunflowers : Mirrors of glory

Whenever I see a sunflower,

Inevitably, I've come to think

Of him whose gifted hands lovingly

Rendered vivid tongues of flaming yellow;

Whose eyes has long gazed on beauty's light.

Until the world grew pale and faded;

Whose soul perceived yet another realm

Full of shimmering forms and hues,

And so sought release beyond the frame.
